Signature James Hetfield, the Snakebyte is an Explorer-shaped guitar and symbol of the mythical rhythm guitarist of the Metallica group. Declination of the EXP and MX-220 this model imposes by its massive size and its sound signature - bulldozer - once connected.
Entirely handcrafted in the Custom Shop Japan, it represents the pinnacle of what the brand can produce thanks to the exceptional attention to detail it enjoys.
This model, produced in very small quantities each year, benefits from an implacable selection of species and the unequaled know-how of the brand's Custom Shop. It is built around a very light 2-piece mahogany body and a set neck - deep joint - also in mahogany, with an ebony fingerboard. It has a gloss finish and EMG JH pickups.
