With the S-622, the Tokyo brand tackles high-end super-strats, with impressive manufacturing quality. The S-622 is a kind of Dinky / Super-Strat, with, and this is its originality, an "arched" body directly sculpted like a table. This, gives a very beautiful vault, ergonomic and aesthetic, which allows to affirm the character of this guitar which oscillates between modernity and vintage.
The SAITO S-622 is a guitar with a sober and modern aesthetic. Here, no flashy exotic species, the S-622 adopts a design in the pure Japanese tradition, combining efficiency and simplicity, while keeping a sophisticated touch thanks to an ultra neat manufacture. In competition with Suhr, Tom Anderson, Tyler and other well-known super-strat manufacturers, the S-622 plays the challengers with a very aggressive price positioning and a "build" of formidable quality.
Our "choice" configuration, as standard, for this model is based on a swamp ash or alder body (your choice). With a bolt-on maple neck (access to the last profiled boxes) with a rosewood, maple or ebony fingerboard (your choice). The microphones configuration is SSH or HH as standard, but everything is modifiable.
As for the fittings, the brand trusts Gotoh 100%. We therefore find the excellent Gotoh 510 bridge / vibrato and the MG-T Lock tuners. The pickups are a pair of Bore Up/Sledge α humbuckers. You are free to configure your model as you wish, we support you throughout the process.
The Saito S-622 is a very balanced and above all, very versatile super-strat carve top. Equipped with excellent microphones, it skillfully mixes vintage sounds and modern comfort. The neck profile is absolutely comfortable, the manufacturing quality is exceptional with an insolating value for money. It's an all-purpose guitar that achieves the feat of doing everything "well".
If you are in the market for a high-end super-strat, urgently try a SAITO, you will be surprised for sure!
