The Piet is the first "Californian" inspired guitar proposed by Nik Huber. Solid body, bolt-on maple neck, tremolo... Leo's inspiration is visible, but the result is totally unique. With the Piet, Nik wanted to create a simple, no frills and above all, 300% Rock guitar. A successful bet, the Piet is a guitar that tastefully combines ergonomics approaching a Strato and electronics that a good Les Paul would not have reigned. This explosive mix gives us a colorful, versatile guitar with a sound signature all its own.
In terms of lines, it's sober, refined, halfway between the Dolphin and the Krautster. The neck profile, as always with the German brand, fills the hand well. As for the manufacturing, like all the rest of the range, it is of very high quality.
In the version shown, the Piet is built around an alder body and a bolt-on maple neck with an Indian rosewood fingerboard. The Haüssel pickups are P90 Foil / Tele type, and the guitar is equipped with a "wraparound" type bridge of the most beautiful effect.
