Ah... The highly sought-after MX. Explorer-shaped guitar and symbol of James Hetfield, mythical rhythm guitarist of the Metallica group. Appeared at the beginning of the 90s, in different versions (EXP, MX-220...), this model imposes itself by its massive size and its sound signature - bulldozer - once plugged in.
The E-EX-125D is a solid body built around a 2-piece mahogany body. Its dimensions are totally identical to the Custom Shop model, giving it a thick lower midrange, with generous midrange and present highs. The set neck - long tenon - in mahogany, with a rosewood fingerboard gives it a round attack and a soft touch. Both humbucker pickups Seymour Duncan AHB are made for metal.
Mythical model of the Japanese brand, the E-EX)125D benefits from uncritical manufacturing. A perfect alternative to US Standard models. Delivered in gig-bag.
