The D'Angelico Premier SS is a semi-hollow type single cutaway. The SS is a unique interpretation of the classic Semi-Hollow by D'Angelico. It adopts the historic head of the brand with its extraordinary design, reminiscent of the New York atmosphere so dear to the brand.
Faithful to the best models of its kind, the Premier SS offers first-rate appointments and benefits from a sound signature of its own.
The SS features semi-hollow construction with a maple top and laminated maple back and sides. Its 15'' wide and 1.75'' thick body gives it a chiseled low mids, with generous mids and crystalline highs. The maple neck, with an Ovangkol fingerboard, gives it a clean attack and a smooth touch. Dual Seymour Duncan pickups deliver versatile Jazz/Blues/Rock tones, with dynamic attack as well as a balanced spectrum.
As comfortable with the fingers as with the pick, its unique voice will accompany you in many styles. Its aesthetics - art deco - and its neat finish make it an excellent Blues-Rock guitar with a timeless aesthetic. Delivered in a gig bag.
